Last updated: October 27, 2026 · Version 1.9

This translation is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

In short

  • Your amounts (rates, installments and expenses) are encrypted on your device before they are saved: no one at On Set can see them. We only use one overall total for the whole community, in dollars and without names.
  • We only store what you enter so the app works: your account, agencies, jobs, payments and expenses.
  • We don't sell your data, we don't show ads and we don't use analytics or tracking cookies. We count website visits anonymously and without cookies.
  • Only you see your information. You can download it or delete your account anytime.
  • We use providers (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Sentry) that store or process data in the United States.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the owner of On Set:

  • Owner: [COMPLETAR: full name]
  • ID / tax number: [COMPLETAR: ID or CUIT]
  • Address: [COMPLETAR: legal address]
  • Email: info@onsetmodels.com
  • Website: onsetmodels.com

For any question about your data, write to info@onsetmodels.com.

2. What data we process

Account data

  • Name, email and password. The password is stored protected; nobody can read it.
  • Profession (model), language, main currency and secondary currencies.
  • Technical account data: sign-up date, last time you were active, whether you turned on notifications or email reminders, your time zone (to send reminders at the right time) and your onboarding step.
  • Your own referral code and, if you signed up through an invite link, which account invited you.

Data you enter in the app

  • Agencies: name, country, city, commission, payment terms, currency, booker names, countries and notes.
  • Options and jobs: client, job type, dates, duration, rate, overtime, currency, country, installments, payment terms, status, payment date and notes.
  • Job expenses (description, category, amount, whether it's reimbursable) and personal expenses (category, description, amount).
  • Agency advances: agency, date, what was advanced, details and amount.
  • Reference exchange rates saved in your profile and the reminders already sent.
  • If you turn on the public availability link: a secret code and the on/off flag.

If you enter data about other people (for example your booker's or a client's name), do it responsibly: enter only what you need to organize your work.

Your amounts: encrypted on your device

Rates, overtime, installments, job expenses, personal expenses and agency advances are encrypted on your device before they are sent to our servers. They can only be opened with your password or, if you create one, with your recovery code. We don’t store your password or your code, so no one at On Set or at our providers can read your amounts. To show you totals and charts, the app opens them only on your device.

Amounts entered before October 23, 2026 are encrypted the first time you open the updated version of the app. Automatic database backups, if any, may keep the previous version until they are replaced.

Anonymous overall total: to know how much On Set helps the industry, the app adds to a single total for the whole community, in dollars, the difference between your current totals and the ones it reported last time. That total doesn’t record who contributed each part, your last contribution stays encrypted in your account, and the internal panel shows no amounts per person.

If you forget your password, the recovery code lets you open your amounts again. Without that code no one can open them, not even us, and the previous amounts go back to 0.

If you delete your account, your key and all your data are deleted, including the encrypted amounts. What was already added to the overall total stays there, because it can’t be split by person and contains no data about you.

Technical data

As with any website, our hosting and database providers log technical data for each connection (IP address, date, browser) in their security logs.

The app also stores: a technical record when something fails (error type, screen, technical message, app version and language, with no client details or amounts); the days you used the app (the date only), to measure how many people come back; which sections and features of the app you opened each day (only their name, the date and how many times, never what you enter in them), to know which parts are used and which ones to improve; whether you opened On Set from the app installed on your phone or computer, the kind of device (iPhone, Android or computer) and the first and last time, to know how many people install it; and the suggestions you send us from the app (topic, text and date).

When something fails, that technical record is also sent to Sentry, our error-monitoring service, with the browser, the device's operating system, the screen and your account's internal ID. It does not include your email, your clients, amounts or notes.

We don't ask for sensitive data (health, origin, religion, etc.). Please don't enter it in notes.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

Email reminders

When you create your account, email reminders are turned on. You get an email at 6 pm (your time zone) the day before each confirmed job, with the client, the location and your instructions. They are only about your jobs: we don’t send you advertising. If you don’t want them, tap the unsubscribe link at the end of any email, or turn them off in On Set, under Your account. You can turn them back on whenever you like.

Phone notifications are separate: they only arrive if you give permission when your phone asks, and you can remove it in your phone’s settings.

We don't make automated decisions that affect you, we don't build advertising profiles and we don't use artificial intelligence on your data.

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell or give away your data. Only these providers process it, on our behalf and under data processing agreements:

ProviderWhat forWhere
Supabase Inc.Database, sign-in and storage of all the app's information.United States
Vercel Inc.Hosting of the website and the app, and anonymous counting of website visits (Vercel Web Analytics, no cookies).United States and global network
Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.)Sending account and reminder emails from no-reply@onsetmodels.com.United States
Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.)Technical log of app errors, so we can find and fix them.United States

To show reference exchange rates, the app also reads a public list of rates from jsDelivr and Cloudflare Pages. No data about you is sent in that request; those services see your IP address, as with any internet connection.

If you use the button to add a job to Google Calendar, Google opens with that job's details, and what you do there is covered by Google's policy.

5. International transfers

Our providers store data in the United States. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • While you have an account, we keep your data to provide the service.
  • If you delete your account, your profile and everything you entered are deleted immediately. Our providers' backups, if any, are overwritten in their usual cycles.
  • Providers' technical security logs are deleted on their own schedules, usually within days or a few weeks.
  • App error records are deleted automatically after 90 days, and after 30 days in Sentry.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data, and withdraw consent where you gave it. You can do many of these yourself in the app:

  • Access and portability: Your account → Download my data (JSON file).
  • Rectification: edit any data in the app.
  • Erasure: Your account → Delete my account.

For anything else, write to info@onsetmodels.com. We reply within one month at the latest.

If you think we're not handling your data properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country. In the European Union, the one where you live; in the United Kingdom, the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Argentina. Data subjects may exercise their right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown (Law 25,326, article 14.3). The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the supervisory body of Law 25,326, handles complaints from people whose rights were affected by a breach of data protection rules.

8. Security

All information travels encrypted, nobody can read your password, each account can only see and change its own information, and access is limited to the minimum needed. No system is perfect: if we detect an incident affecting your data, we'll tell you and, where required, the authority.

9. Minors and parental authorization

On Set is not directed at children. If you're a minor under the law of your country, you may only use On Set with the authorization of your parent or legal guardian, who accepts the Terms and this Policy on your behalf and is responsible for how you use the app and for the data you enter.

  • Digital age of consent. Each country sets a different age for consenting to the use of personal data without an adult (for example 16 in much of the European Union, 14 in Spain, 13 in the United States). Below that age, the account must be created and managed by the parent or guardian.
  • How we ask for it. By accepting the Terms of use to create the account, everyone declares that, if they're a minor, they have that authorization. We keep the date and the version of the accepted texts as a record. On Set doesn't verify ages or documents: it relies on that declaration.
  • False declarations. Whoever declares an authorization they don't have is responsible for that declaration. If we learn that a minor uses the app without authorization, we delete the account and its data.
  • Rights of parents and guardians. They can ask to see, correct or delete the data of the minor in their care, or withdraw the authorization, by writing to info@onsetmodels.com. We'll ask them to prove the relationship.
  • Minimal data. The app only stores what's entered to organize work. We recommend not entering school details, home address or other personal data that isn't needed.

10. Storage in your browser

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. The app stores in your browser only what it needs to work (your session, your preferences and a copy of the app's files so it opens without a connection). The website visit count uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. See the Cookie policy for details.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date and version above. If the change is important, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
