Privacy of your amounts

What you earn is yours only. Not even we can see it.

We know money is a delicate subject in this industry. That’s why On Set encrypts your rates, payments and expenses on your own device before saving them, and only your password opens them.

  • Your amounts are stored encrypted. No one at On Set can see them: not the team, not the internal panel.
  • Only you open them, with your password.
  • We only count one overall total for the whole community, in dollars and without names, to measure how much On Set helps the industry.
  • We are not interested in how much you earn: we want to help you keep your career in order.
  • If you ever leave, you delete your account from the app and everything of yours is deleted.

Options and jobs, separate and organized.

Castings and offers that are not confirmed yet are recorded as options, kept apart from confirmed jobs. When an option is confirmed, it becomes a job without entering the details again.

Every option, job and payment appears in the calendar automatically. From there, any job can be sent to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

  • A reminder of the next day's job, with your instructions, in the app and by email.

MONEY ON

Each agency's commission and payment terms are set up once and applied to every new job. Expenses are recorded per job, noting which ones the agency should reimburse.

What is On Set?

On Set is an app for models that brings your options, jobs, calendar, payments, agency commissions and expenses together in one place. You enter each detail once and the app works out the net amount, the payment date and your monthly totals.

Who is On Set for?

For models who work with one or more agencies, in one or more countries, and want to know at any moment what is booked, how much they earned and how much they are owed. It works whether you are just starting out or already have an established career.

How much does On Set cost?

Nothing today. During the launch, the first accounts join the Founders Plan, free for at least one year. The standard plan will be a 30-day free trial and then USD 4.99 per month. We will let you know before charging anything, and nothing is charged without your consent. More in Pricing.

Do I need to know about finance or accounting?

No. You enter what you already know (client, date, agency and rate) and On Set calculates the commission, the net amount, the estimated payment date and the totals in your currency.

How do I keep track of my modeling jobs?

Each job is saved with client, job type, dates, agency, booker, country and rate. Then the app asks you what needs updating: whether an option was confirmed, whether you did the job and whether you have been paid.

What is the difference between an option and a job?

An option is a date on hold that is not confirmed yet. A job is confirmed. In On Set options are kept separate, and when one is confirmed it moves to Jobs without entering the details again.

How do I know how much my agency owes me?

In Payments you see what you have collected, what is still to collect, overdue payments and the outstanding balance with each agency. Each payment date comes from the payment terms you set for that agency.

Does it work with several agencies and currencies?

Yes. Each agency has its own commission, payment terms and currency. Totals are converted to your main currency with daily reference rates, in eight currencies: EUR, USD, ARS, GBP, BRL, MXN, CLP and COP.

Can I track my expenses and agency reimbursements?

Yes. You add the expenses for each job and mark which ones the agency pays back, so you know which reimbursements are still pending. You can also track personal expenses and see what is left each month.

Does On Set remind me before a job?

Yes. The day before each confirmed job you see a reminder in the app with your instructions, and it also arrives by email at 6 pm in your time zone. You can unsubscribe from the emails at any time.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. On Set works in the browser on your phone, tablet and computer, and installs on your home screen like an app, without an app store. Your data is the same on every device.

Can I share my availability with my agency or clients?

Yes, with a public link that only shows whether each day is free, on hold or booked. It never shows clients, amounts or notes, and you can turn it off at any time.

Can my agency or my clients see my data?

No. Only you can access your account. Read how we look after your information in Your data.

Can the On Set team see how much I earn?

No. Your amounts are encrypted on your device and only open with your password. No one at On Set can see them: not the team, not the internal panel. We only count one overall total for the whole community, in dollars and without names.

What happens to my amounts if I forget my password?

With your recovery code, which you create in Your account, you open them again with your new password. Without that code no one can open them, not even us: you keep all your jobs and agencies, but the amounts go back to 0. That’s why it’s worth creating the code and keeping it somewhere safe.

Does On Set calculate taxes?

No. On Set organizes your jobs, payments and expenses, but it does not give tax or accounting advice. For that, talk to an accountant or a qualified professional.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at any time, from Your account. Deletion is permanent and erases everything you entered. You can download a copy of your data first.
